Stylist Francesca Burns

Francesca Burns is someone who inspires me so much as a stylist.
whilst i was at LCF i did a piece on her for my portfolio development:

She joined i-D magazine in 2005 and was promoted to Fashion Editor. In 2008 she moved to LOVE magazine taking up the position of Senior Fashion Editor-at-Large.

Francesca works with photographers such as Nick Night, Alasdair McLellan, KT Auleta, Daniel Jackson, Angelo Pennetta, Matt Irwin and Kenneth Capello amongst others.
She also contributes to Purple, Vogue Japan, V magazine, Interview and Self Service magazines.

Francesca also works for the British Fashion Council as a panellist for the New Gen initiative, supporting emerging designer labels for London Fashion Week.
I find her work really creative and imaginative , sometimes i cant stop staring at the pics of aggy, they are that good!

Heres some of her amazing work...

Matt Irwin has fastly become my fave photg of the moment,
Last year i went to his exbition in old street where his bold print covered the building,
Inside images of, Alice, Pixie and Pugh in a whole new light,
I first heard of his work at uni where the first year teaches like to mention his name to give us all a little faith that the course is worth sticking at, but later revealed Irwin did his own thing, handing in 5p photocopies for final prints and a portfolio for review in a plastic binding folder from staples, brilliant!
i find his work real fresh, raw and so inspiring, take a look....
